Picnic on the Green is an annual community event held on the village green by the Shore Road carpark in Bonchurch on the Isle of Wight.
It's an afternoon of food, fresh air and lovely company. Take a picnic blanket, take a feast, take your friends and family. Strictly no BBQs — disposable or otherwise.
It's normally held on a Sunday afternoon in May, so check the Bonchurch Village Facebook page for the date and times.
Whatever the weather, the good vibes are guaranteed! There's often live music from local musicians and a raffle with some good prizes. All proceeds raise go to the Bonchuch Community Association to help the village looking its best. There's a Portaloo on site and guests are asked to take their litter home with them.
Free to attend — just turn up and enjoy. Free parking too.
