Do you love reading but are unable to visit your local library?

The Isle of Wight Council's Home Library Service (HLS) may be able to help. It is free and delivers books in normal and large print and on spoken word CDs, across the Isle of Wight to customers who are unable to get to their local library for a variety of reasons.

Who can use this service?

You may qualify if you can't visit a library because of

- disability
- limited mobility
- long-term illness
- caring responsibilities
- inability to carry materials to and from the library
- experiencing mental health challenges

Your need for this service may be

- long-term
- seasonal (illness or disability worsened by bad weather conditions)
- temporary (following a severe accident or recuperating from a serious illness)
