A community inspired arts & crafts, horticultural, and performing arts festival for all ages.
The MacNoughton-Howe Festival celebrated its 70th anniversary in 2025, having first been staged in 1955.
It is a 2-day arts and crafts event in Ventnor, normally held in October, which showcases amateur artistic talent on the Isle of Wight.
A wide range of classes
The programme generally includes classes in art, craft, photography, written work and more. Topics cover everything from recycled material crafts, flower displays and bead work to knitting, patchwork, mosaics, soft toy making and jam or marmalade.
Entrants can submit their work in painting and drawing, embroidery and tapestry, decoupage, collage, encaustic work, greeting card making, jewellery, cake decoration and photography.

Local crafters are also be on hand at the festival to chat about their work and demonstrate their skills.
Visitors have the chance to purchase some of the items on display.
