Caroline Whittle is a local Ventnor artist author, and the owner of whimsical guinea pig brand Out of the Hutch!
About
Caroline was awarded an HND in Graphic Design from the Berkshire College of Art & Design. Since graduating, she has enjoyed a long career in the greeting card industry and has been a freelance illustrator for the past 28 years. Her commercial work is widely known nationally and internationally, and she has a wide fan base as the creator of the unique Guinea Pig collection 'Out of the Hutch'.
Loving her picture books as a child, Caroline has realised that writing and illustrating for children is her true calling and has begun created several tales around her beloved Guinea Pigs. 'The Flying Carpet', the story behind her best loved painting, is the first to be published. Caroline currently lives on the Isle of Wight, surrounded by her numerous pet Guinea Pigs who continue to inspire her.
