Niton WI is a local Isle of Wight branch of the Women's Institute, the largest women's organisation in the country enabling women of all ages to learn, socialise, share experiences and find friendship.
Niton WI meets every second Thursday at 2pm in the Village Hall in the High Street.
At a typical monthly meeting, members are greeted at the door and can purchase a raffle ticket if they wish.
The meeting starts with business, followed by a speaker. Tea and cake are then served with the opportunity to chat and socialise.
Visitors are greeted by a member of the Committee and made welcome.
What do we get from our WI? Friendship, fun, entertainment, interesting talks, outings, activities...and cake.
