Founded in 1870 by Ventnor Burial Board, the cemetery in Lowtherville is perched on the hill overlooking the town of Ventnor on the Isle of Wight. It is often referred to as Ventnor Burial Ground in earlier sources. It is still in use, and is now administered by Isle of Wight Council.
The cemetery is open every day from 8am to sunset.
