If you live in Ventnor on the Isle of Wight and are struggling to make ends meet, do consider joining your local Community Pantry.
Community foodbanks provide groceries at a lower cost than supermarkets or shops, offering a range of fresh, frozen, tinned and dry food which will change on a weekly basis.
We are located with the Ventnor Family Centre in Albert Street.
To use a Community Pantry you can become a member of any Pantry and are then able each week to collect £15+ worth of groceries in return for just £5. You do not have to use the pantry every week - just when you need it. If you don't use it, you do not need to pay.
Joining a community pantry is not means tested. You do not need to be on benefits to go to the pantry. You can join any pantry, and you don't have to use the one nearest to you.
