Shiver me timbers!
The Ventnor Pirate Festival is a 4 day event on the Isle of Wight celebrating all things Pirate and Ventnor's prime coastal location. It's very much for adults as it is for children. Locals of all ages love to get dressed up in pirate garb and into the spirit of the occasion.
It takes place during Ventnor Carnival Week with the festivities commencing on Wednesday and ending on Saturday. It takes place all along the seafront from the paddling pool by Besty and Spinky's down to The Spyglass pub.
