The Ventnor Summer Festival, held in Ventnor on the Isle of Wight, is a 2 day event celebrating all things Ventnor. It happens at the end of June or early July.
SATURDAY (Ventnor Day)
Saturday's festivities are hosted by the Ventnor Business Association, with things going on around town and on Ventnor seafront. There is normally an indoor market with various stalls.
SUNDAY (Ventnor Summer Festival)
Sunday is hosted by Ventnor Town Council and is held in the award winning Ventnor Park. There are normally fun activities, stalls showcasing local makers and crafters, charity information stalls, food, and live music. The day will also feature sporting tasters from local sports clubs who encourage visitors to join in. There are usually stalls and activities for children, like face-painting, glitter tattoos, sand art, and traditional games.
There should be plenty of fun for local residents, Islanders and holidaymakers alike.
Stallholders are always welcomed for the Sunday event. A small fee is charged for all stalls, which goes towards covering the cost of organising the day.
