Come join our monthly Compassion Circle held at Better Days Cafe in Ventnor on the Isle of Wight
A Compassion Circle is a space within a community where people come together to feel a sense of connection, care, and belonging. It is not affiliated with any religion or political beliefs and is intended to be inclusive.
Compassion Circles are an initiative of Global Compassion Coalition, a global movement of compassion researchers, trainers, and activists working to spread and embed compassionate thinking, feeling, and action.
The core elements of a Circle session usually involve a practice cultivating compassion, self-reflection, sharing, and empathic listening – all designed to help the participants know that they are valued and seen by others.
Compassion Circles will be happening monthly (usually on the second Thursday of every month) and are free of charge. Please arrive at least 5 minutes before start time as the doors will be locked at 6.30pm. Whilst this is a drop in event, it will be helpful to know in advance who will be attending. Please email if you are attending or if you have any questions.
Thank you and look forward to creating something beautiful together.
