BALLET - JAZZ - LYRICAL - COMMERCIAL - MUSIC THEATRE
If your child is thinking about starting dance classes, we’d absolutely love to hear from you.
Visit our website and sign up for our email to be notified of our full timetable for students of all ages and abilities.
Also, during the school holidays - half term or the summer - we run a Dance Camp in Ventnor. It's an active and creative way to spend half term and the perfect opportunity for young dancers to move, learn, refine skills and, most importantly… have fun! 💃🕺
Be prepared for:
• Fun and dynamic choreography, uniquely created by dancers for dancers
• Exploring Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical, Commercial and Musical Theatre in age-appropriate sessions
• Building confidence, coordination, and musicality in a friendly, supportive environment
Open to all abilities - our dedicated teachers will ensure every dancer feels included and challenged.
DON'T HAVE THE RIGHT SHOES?
Starting a new sport can be overwhelming enough without having to hunt down all the right kit!
We’re building up a stock of dance shoes to make things a little easier for our families. Our Ballet and Jazz shoes are brand new, and our tap shoes are pre loved but in great condition.
One less thing for parents to worry about!
PRIVATE LESSONS
Our 1-1 private lessons offer personalised training tailored to each dancer’s goals and ability. Always fully focused on the individual, we help dancers progress faster in a supportive and motivating environment.
Suitable for all ages and abilities, with lessons available in a range of styles.
Please note: hall hire is an additional cost and varies depending on location. Contact us to enquire about availability and bookings.
ABOUT
Wondering who’s behind Drift Dance School? Let me introduce myself - I’m Abby.
Dance has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. After training at The BRIT School and teaching at leading dance schools across London for several years, opening Drift Dance School in Ventnor felt like a natural next step. I wanted to create a space where I could bring my experience, passion, and knowledge to dancers on the Isle of Wight.
My aim is to support dancers as they grow, build confidence, and develop their own unique style in a positive and welcoming environment.
I’m so excited to meet local dancers and welcome students of all ages into the studio.
When I’m not teaching, you’ll usually find me around Ventnor walking my two dogs.
